Plamere Plasma Pen
The Plasma pen is an advanced, minimaly-invasive, skin lifting, and rejuvenation device used to treat wrinkles, skin tags and creping skin. This treatment can be used for a number of procedures to dramatically enhance the looks without the need for costly and invasive surgery.
The Plamere Plasma Pen is an FDA approved device used to perform fibroblast therapy. Fibroblasts are the most common cells of connective tissue in the body that produce collagen. Collagen is what keeps the skin taunt and supple. This method can be used to treat multiple areas of concern without damaging the surrounding tissue leading to quick healing time and low risk of adverse reactions.
How does it work?
Plasma is the fourth state of matter along with Solid, Liquid, and Gas. The principle involves the ionization of gases from the atmospheric air to create a micro electrical discharge or ARC. The ARC never touches the skin, but causes a micro injury to the skin’s epidermal layer while simultaneously heating and disrupting the deeper dermal structure via thermal conductions. This is more commonly known as Fibroblasting. Fibroblasts are the most common cells of connective tissue in the body that produce collagen.
What does it do?
This anti-aging treatment is based on a series of minute dots adjacent to the tension lines on the skin. This process triggers an immediate tightening, lifting, and remodeling of the skin. This technique is used to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin.

Who is a candidate?
Fitzpatrick skin types I-III are safe candidates for the Plasma Pen. Darker skin tones (African American, African, Latin, Native American, Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian ancestry and people of mixed ethnicities) may not be good candidates for Plasma Pen as the heat may cause hyperpigmentation due to the heat associated with the ARC created by plasma pen.

How Long Does a Plamere Plasma Pen Treatment Take?
Plamere Plasma Pen is probably one of the fastest treatments available thanks to its spectacular plasma delivery, the incredibly ergonomic lightweight design of Plasma Pen, the tiny probes, and the best technician training and support available.
Plamere Plasma Pen treatment typically requires around 30 to 40 minutes to treat upper or lower eye areas. Procedures like a full neck treatment or a full forehead treatment may take a bit longer. Other aspects, such as the pre-treatment (numbing) of the area, consultation length, completion of forms, the individual technician, and the aftercare instructions, will extend the time you are with your technician.
How Many Treatments Will You Need?
Often, patients only require one treatment, but it entirely depends on your personal expectation, the area being treated, your age, the condition of your skin, and other factors. However, we believe that you simply will not get faster or better results, along with less downtime and faster recovery, than you will with the Plamere Plasma Pen.
Each and every client is different, and your treatment plan will be tailored specifically to help you achieve your goals. In our experience, some patients require 2 or more treatments to achieve optimal results. However, many patients are absolutely satisfied with their results after just one treatment.
It’s important to remember that although your treated area may look completely healed from the outside very quickly and results are noticeable after day one, it takes several weeks, or sometimes months, for the cells living within your epidermal junction to fully do the job we have triggered them to do. We space out treatments for a minimum of 8 weeks not only to ensure adequate healing but it’s also unlikely we can fully see and appreciate the results that first treatment achieved.
What To Expect From Plamere Plasma Pen Aftercare
Aftercare following a Plamere Plasma Pen treatment is relatively straightforward. Your technician will discuss aftercare instructions with you in great detail after your treatment to ensure that you protect your investment. Here are a few things you can prepare for and expect from your aftercare instructions:
- Cleanse your skin with warm water (never hot) and a gentle, non-fragranced soap
- Pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel
- Do not exercise right after a treatment because any heat, steam, or sweat can add to the inflammation that’s already present. Ideally, you’ll want to avoid excessive sweating for 7-10 days during the healing process.
- Sun avoidance is key because you cannot apply sunscreen until any scabbing has separated.
- For the first 7-10 days, only apply products that we provide you in the morning and at night.
- Do not wear makeup in the area treated for the first 7-10 days of healing because the application or removal of makeup could disrupt the scabs before they are ready to separate.
- Do not apply cold packs or ice packs during the swelling period as icing can diminish the outcome and inhibit the inflammation process that we want to happen naturally.
- Never cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing of any kind until the area is fully healed.
- Never pick, scratch, or peel scabs from off the treated area. Allow them to fall away naturally to reveal beautiful skin beneath.
